PEPPER presented at SOFC XIX in Stockholm
Published: 13. August 2025
Stockholm, Sweden, became a meeting point for the international solid oxide fuel cell community as the 19th International Symposium on Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC XIX) took place from 13–18 July 2025.
During the event, our colleagues from DLR delivered an oral presentation focusing on the development of proton-conducting ceramic cell (PCC) technology in a planar architecture, which lies at the heart of the PEPPER project. The presentation introduced the scientific foundations behind the technology and shared the latest developments supporting more efficient and scalable hydrogen production through proton-conducting ceramic electrolysis.
SOFC XIX provided the PEPPER team with an opportunity to exchange knowledge with the international research community, discuss recent advances in electrochemical energy conversion, and strengthen connections with experts working across the fields of solid oxide and proton-conducting ceramic technologies.
